There is no onsite visitor parking however there are Pay and Display carparks opposite the butterfly farm entrance gates.
Yes, there are five bays for Blue Badge holders, these are subject to availability and cannot be booked. There are Blue Badge bays in the Pay and Display car parks nearby.
No, unfortunately dogs are not allowed as the Flight Area is too warm and humid and causes them distress. Please read access statement for guidance on assistance dogs here
Carers are entitled to a free visit to the Butterfly Farm if they are accompanying a disabled visitor. One free Carer per disabled visitor. You may be asked to show your documentation to a member of our reception team on arrival. Accepted documents are as follows:
- Disability Living Allowance (DLA) award letter for children under 16 years (dated within the last 2 years).
- Personal Independence Payment (PIP) award letter for persons 16-64 years (dated within the last 2 years).
- Attendance Allowance or Carer's Allowance letter of award (dated within the last 2 years).
- Incapacity Benefit books, or a letter notifying the recipient that the benefit has been awarded Incapacity Benefit or Employment and Support Allowance (ESA)
- A current and valid Blue Badge.
- Access Card with +1 symbol
- In the case of visual impairment, a registration card is known as the BD8 or a Certificate of Visual Impairment (CVI)
- For visitors who require more than one carer we ask that you bring documentation to support this.
